I met with her by chance.
I decided I was done looking for anyone
But right there, we met.
I believe so much in fate
About my meetings with anyone
And yes, she came around to be.
Although I have someone
Who promised me heaven while on earth,
That eyes which always made me smile.
But then, this new person came into my life
By chance giving me the thought
Of thinking twice.
In her voice, I did find solace.
I remember the way
We both looked at each other that day.
The day I visited my uncommon friend
And saw her stand
Just right at the door.
There I knew there was something more
To your humble self.
I couldn’t resist the thought of talking to her,
I took my chance and she made it real.
All I wanted to give my life was a chance.
All I should have done was forget
About the pretty face, I met a while ago.
But I found myself thinking
About my next meeting with her.
Indeed things can be difficult for me
And when she called,
All I wanted was to get next to her again.
But my heart holds with someone
Who would kill to have it.
Yes, I traded it out but am caught up
With giving fate a chance once again.
Probably, she has always been next to me.
