SHE SMILED

Silent shrieks, as invisible pin prickles
Her blurry eyes, hot tears trickles
Constant gongs, implying she might fade
For the interminable, as she now wade.

An ailment beyond the physician
Nowhere to be found, is the musician
The coast is clear, mustered the magician!

Son, why await the one that never come?
Even when tomorrow is written in crystal balls
I can feel the messenger of Hades, standing tall
For morrow will never come, for some.

She has cancer-
And after we strolled in miles
Her final night, was spiced with dancers
But beneath the requiem, she smiled
