There are birds of your age
Who still sing in the nest.
They live by the day
They care less about the next.
What is it you think
That gets you pressed
With no rest?
Relax and be fine
Of all creatures, you’re the best.
If birds still sing,
You deserve nothing less.
Life is infused with challenges
For those with a golden future.
It took you a hell of a time
To begin walking from crawling,
You had bruises and aches from your incessant falls.
You’re only walking today
Because you never gave up,
In spite of all the pains felt.
You may begin flying tomorrow
If you keep up with the same energy.
No matter how scorching the sun bites,
It will eventually leave for the cool moon.
A mother had to watch her son
Get nailed to the cross by the entire community
Of skilled and unskilled carpenters
Fictitious or not, I can’t tell
How tough is your situation?
I am of the utmost belief
That your tomorrow will be bright,
Brighter than your wildest imagination.
Hopefully, I won’t be late,
So I could enjoy with you
The coming sunshine of your prosperity.
