MIRROR'S CORNER

MIRROR

Smile for me even when you’re sad,
When the bloodshot in my eyes says otherwise.

Reveal to me the extraordinary creature,
When I’m nothing but a filthy lowly being.

Show me the striking resemblance of the beautiful soul
That lies beyond this tacky surface.

Expatriate the hate within
Even while I seem to repatriate it.

Speak the existence of the angelic ability
Of me as I look into you.

For all, I feel within is nothing
But shallowness of emptiness.

Reveal unto me the angelic, beautiful soul
I seem to have forgotten o dear MIRROR!
