MIRROR'S CORNER

BROKEN BUT FINE

She was bartered like a thief and
thrown into mud,
Her pride was snatched away by
misfortune,
Her prestige is gone, far away in
the desert,
Where an oasis doesn’t exist.

She was left in agony, to die
afterwards,
Rejected and hurt, uncertainty
curled her up
That mild breeze of life, whispering
strength and courage.
Nature finding solace in her arms,
Bracing up the quite pain that
needed comfort,
They melt right in her heart and
soul,
The hope of rising descended
faster than
The sky doves and she inhales and
strives for a better living.
She’s broken into pieces,
But does a beauty with it, and its
poetry.
