EDIFYING

TIME

Time is a cruel master
Says all whose lives go a little faster
Time is a villain, time is a thief.

For it causes so much grief,
Time robs us of persons and moments we hold most dear
And brings us to the end of our days, that which we fear.

Only those who dwell in mediocrity
Wish not to part with such feeble treasures of vanity
For we all part with something eventually
Even if we refuse to accept naturally.

In other not to be made fools,
We should remember the rules,
All things have an end, all men must die.

So instead of worrying about how time will fly
Spend time with those who we hold most dear
And nourish them with eternal love and care.
