EDIFYING

A LIFE AFTER DEATH

Lifeless within the grave with all hopes gone
Down below the heap of sand within the dungs
Is a body laid in anguish and sorrow without a form
Left to rotten and decay with no proper dorm.

A being once known to be begotten
Now left below the pit soon to be forgotten

Stories of a good deed done are all that is gotten
From a lifeless being laid below the soil, it’s body soon to rotten.

Amidst much darkness and a lost hope
Comes life to the dead like an extended rope

The one left to rotten below the pit by her own,
Up again to live life and to death never again to parole.
