EDIFYING

HIS GOODNESS

I have longed for you.
Thirsty for you.
In your glory, i dwell,
And your goodness, i will tell,
Of great and mighty things you
have done,
And of which, you gave us your
only son.
I ask myself, who am I?
That for my sins, He should die.
Leaving all the glories of the
heavens,
And all the wondrous things in it.
For me just to be called an heir,
And all the iniquities on his
shoulders, he bears.
Oh!! Sound the trumpet for the
holy one,
I will sing of your praises,
Play your flutes and trombone,
And to him tender your cases,
For He cares for you beyond
yonder,
Yes!! That wonderful wonder.
