GOLD IN DIRT

Your smile was the brightest of them all,
Your dimple gentle embedded in the nest of your cheeks.

Your aura as that of a rainbow,
Words spoken softly yet swiftly from your tender lips.

The gracious height of yours like that of a coconut tree,
Your steps gliding elegantly as that of a queen.

Skin soft and shining as that of a precious stone,
Playing lovely the fate life gave.

You were gone even before you could bloom fully,
You were a gold never refined well.
