From the ages of six,
I’ve been seeing demons.
Demons; the emissaries of the
devil.
devil.
First encounter was,
When I had measles.
I stared into the wall,
Following the paint patterns,
Unknowingly conjuring the demon’s
pattern.
pattern.
In a flash,
I saw fire.
Just a flash of fire,
In the silhouette of the most
bizarre thing,
bizarre thing,
I’ve ever seen at that age, both
in reality and on screen.
in reality and on screen.
The fire had a head,
So anomalously forged.
With a remarkable feet.
Just one foot,
Wearing a blazing shoe.
I could resonate it echoes,
I could inhale its stench;
Stinking like slop of placenta.
I took my eyes off the wall,
And what I saw; nearly took me
To the afterlife.
