MATTERS of the HEART

GIVE INTO

On my knees, at your heart’s feet,
But you refuse to subject.
At the sight of my tears,
The memory of my fears linger.

Your smile is like a stream
That streams out joy
From the banks of pleasure.
You are perfect.

I love you rise and falls,
Your sinusoidal greats and flaws,
You are the architect of my smiles,
And the engineer of my laughter.

Give into letting me in,
Into your den of rhetoric smiles,
Into your glossy frowns,
Into your ribs.

Like a slave,
Like a dog,
Like a sheep,
Am all yours.
