CHRISTMAS

Plates clasped in spoon’s care
Just to love the warm benevolence,
Straws draw endlessly
Only to be dumped.
The season of parked vehicles
And crowded markets.
The season of expired wares
In silver portable baskets.
Wares and wears are its necessity,
Bloodshed of fowls also necessary.
Sunny sky housing hungry souls
Who end up belching on hungry
roads.
Contrary to outlined beliefs,
We should be sober.
He died this day,
So we won’t die in vain.
