Peter eventually gets an unplanned date with a girl he had secretly admired for about three years. He finds out that she has a mutual affection for him. They fall in love and a relationship bloomed in the face of some odds and uncertainties. They survived the disastrous Ikeja Cantonment bomb blasts together and fought the economic and social depression that followed. Their feelings for each other blossomed to an erotic peak despite their efforts to hold back…, but for some reasons they could not take the relationship to the level they both longed for. The pain and animosity that followed was as intense as the joy and ebullience that once existed between them.
Peter shares the story from his side, and some lessons he learned in the process.
