As the narrative unfolds, the focus shifts to Ojo, a man marked by destiny from birth and described as a “friend of death.” Gifted with extraordinary spiritual insight, Ojo becomes a renowned diviner whose powers are both revered and feared. When a deadly plague threatens the town of Ikere, Ojo is summoned to uncover the cause and provide a solution.

Through divination, it is revealed that the land demands a sacrifice to restore balance. However, the cruel twist lies in the fact that the required sacrifice is a stranger.
